look at me. finally starting another blog and promising to keep it up, yet it’s been sitting vacant for several weeks now.

sigh.

in my defense, shit has been hectic. but the sememster ended on several good notes, and this week has offered me some of the free time that i had long since lost.

spent last night at the leadway watching spike and murphs do their thing. i’d been trying to get up north to watch their open mic night for ages now, and it felt good to finally get to hang out with everyone and just kick back. ended up being an interesting night all-around – i should have just gone home and gone to bed once i left the bar, but i went to hang out with a friend instead and ended up having a great time.

didn’t get home today until almost 3 in the afternoon, and at first, i was a little rattled – i felt almost irresponsible for having fun and enjoying my “me” time. i feel like i’ve severely overlooked the health benefits of “me” time, though. perhaps in the future i’ll be more comfortable with doing things for myself and not for others.

that being said, i’m watching bad movies and playing on the computer instead of cleaning and doing laundry.
